Ultrasound-Guided Med Ed

Things are moving along quickly with both the 2Plus2 and current curriculum students headed for their first ultrasound lecture later this month. The ‘intro to ultrasound’ will cover basic ultrasound physics, knobology and scanning technique. This is by no means a comprehensive review of ultrasound, but should be sufficient to get our students started with their ultrasound-guided anatomy material (2Plus2) while also serving as a take off point for the current curriculum students (phases B-D who have organized themselves into the UofS Ultrasound (USUS) group).

Just as exciting is that it looks like the ultrasound equipment we will be using (6 machines!) is now making its way to its new home at the U of S.
